 Growing Firm looking for a Finance Manager
| Robert Half Finance & Accounting has teamed up with a Growing Firm in North Dallas looking to hire a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will manage the reporting needs and assist in monthly close reporting activities, margin analysis, annual revenue planning, ad hoc reporting, and other revenue accounting initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage Revenue Accounting reporting requirements and initiatives, including current and new operational reporting for internal customers, including market Finance VPs, Financial Reporting, Product Management, and Executive Management.
- Develop and prepare monthly close reporting package for Revenue Accounting, including detailed analysis of key performance metrics and period to period fluctuations.
- Key liaison with market finance personnel to facilitate monthly analysis of revenue results and variances, which will include fielding questions related to service revenue performance metrics.
- Assist in preparation of ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed to various internal customers and the Revenue Accounting team.
- Create and prepare margin analysis for various product lines.
- Develop, prepare, and analyze various KPI reports, including monthly rate/volume analysis.
- Analyze and document financial statement variances in detail.
- Prepare annual revenue budget, review and revise with management and executive team, and maintain budget templates and related business assumption documentation.
- Manage current initiative to utilize internal reporting software to allow for more efficient reporting, and cooperate with the Financial System Automation team in order to automate various reports, including creation of report requests and testing of results.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of financial analysis experience
- Advanced Excel skills required
