Credit Manager



Robert Half Finance & Accounting is in search of an organized, thorough Credit Manager for one of our clients, a specialized manufacturing company in the Greater Lansing area. The Credit Manager’s duties include, but are not limited to: evaluating the financial condition of potential and existing customers and determining the appropriate extension of credit; establishing terms of credit under which accounts will be sold; monitoring existing accounts for past due invoices and deductions and revising credit terms as needed; maintaining diplomatic communications with customers and/or salespeople on customer credit and collection matters; and much more. Experience: The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. An emphasis on Accounting or Finance is preferred. Additionally required is one year each of experience with: the review and analysis of the financial condition of a commercial account; accounts receivable management and collection activities; and supervising and directing the work activities of others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong mathematical and organizational skills are a must
